There are times in our lives that we look for something deliberately and grow tired of the search when it isn't found. Later, we might decide that it doesn't exist or that it is lost beyond the pursuit. But then, one fine day it falls right in to your lap without even calling out for it. And when you have it right there with you, you don't know what exactly you should do with it. That is what happens with love most of the times. It gets found at the most unlikely times in the most unexpected ways. Leaving you confused about how to deal with it. And by the time you figure it out, it might have vanished. He turned around and smiled. Oh my lord. This guy was even hotter up close. I shoved all the thoughts from my head and said "Hi. My name's Ava." He smiled again and said "Nice to meet you. I'm Zander." That's all he could say before I kissed him. He immediately tensed up, but then he did something I didn't expect. He kissed me back and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer. I opened my mouth a little in shock, and his tongue went in my mouth. He tasted like rainwater and peppermint. Despite myself, I moaned a little when he deepened the kiss even further. After what felt like 2 hours, we broke apart. "I'm sorry," he said blushing a little "but it just kinda clicked." he explained, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's okay." I said, also starting to blush a little. For 2 minutes the awkward just settled between us, and I swear it was tangible. He broke the silence first, finally meeting my eyes and not staring at his high-tops. "So...", he started and chuckled nervously "Could I get your number?" I stared at him for a second wondering if it would even be a good idea, when he said "I know we don't know each other, but I felt fireworks just now, and even if we don't go on a date, I'd love to see you again."
