When you think about India, one of the things that come to mind is the institution of arranged marriage. Child marriage, though banned for a long time was prevelant at one point of time. To this date, arranged marriage is common though the participants are now above 20years and get into it voluntarily.For Indian girls like me, an arranged marriage is definite. But the hopeless romantic that I am, I dream of love, knowing my life partner and loving him even BEFORE marriage. I always thought that in an arranged marriage, the couple learn to like each other but the passion associated with love is missing. To prove my point, I started asking married people if they loved their partners.... and their answers warmed my heart :) Here are some of their stories.
