When the world is taken by storm with a deadly virus and her parents and younger sister are found "dead" in the remains of her family's small home, Storm and her elder brother Zeke are forced to survive on their own in a wasteland; a world where the dead rise only to be consumed with a ravenous desire for human flesh. Some unfortunate happenings cause the two siblings to be separated from one another and they will stop at nothing to find each other. Along the way, they make new friends, face challenging situations, and possibly find love.
Will they be reunited? Will they beat this world?

(Based on the show "The Walking Dead") Serina Rose Williams lives a very mundane and happy life. She lives with her motherly sister Lori, overprotective brother in law Rick, and adorable nephew Carl. If it were up to her, she would want to live her whole life like this, happy and close with her family. However, it would appear that life seemed to have other plans for her. for she receives news that the only brother she has in her life, Rick was shot in the line of duty , and had entered a comatose state. Heartbroken, and grief stricken, Serina is not at all prepared when the world decides to end, only three months later. With no choice, Serina has to leave the only home she's ever known, and flee the city along with her sister, nephew, and her brother in law's best friend. They set up camp and try their best to live a peaceful life whilst the world as they know it, succumb to the walking dead. Serina must accept the rules of survival in this new world, while trying to protect her family, and withholding the morals she had in her owl world.
