In computer science, a nibble is half a byte. You can see the little bit of wordplay there, since 'byte' is a homophone of the word 'bite'. That's why a nibble is sometimes spelled 'nybble', reflecting how 'byte' is spelled. Amusing, if you ask me.
This, whatever it is, however, has nothing to do with computer science. Why am I mentioning it then?
