he turned to face me and asked, "why are you lying here with me?" i stopped to think, why was i lying on the ground with a total stranger? "i don't know, i guess i thought we both need comfort" the man grunted in response. "why are you here?" i asked him. "i could ask you the same thing"
i let out a harsh laugh. "i come here to be alone" the man sighed. "if you come here to be alone, why are you staying with me?" i realised how vulnerable the man was, and i turned to him and said "i find you intriguing."
"what's your name?" he asked. "frank." i turned on my side and extended my hand for him to shake, which he did.
we lay there for a few minutes in silence, the few exceptions being the crickets chirping. "gerard." he mumbled. i turned over, facing him. "what was that?" "my name's gerard."

Frank is a newcomer in a quiet, sleepy town, trying to escape his past. It's dull and boring until the arrival of a newcomer that could be the making or breaking of him. Gerard has demons of his own and is shipped off to his Uncle's place in the ass end of nowhere to sort himself out. He can't imagine anything worse until he stumbles upon a punk kid who seems to have secrets of his own. Frank is determined to keep himself to himself, but Gerard is an annoying, nosy, pain in the ass, who, for some reason, Frank can't seem to get enough of. Will he eventually let Gerard into his life, and will it be all plain sailing for the two if he does? And there's something physically wrong too - a figure that lurks in the smoke, fog, and shadows - a silhouette the deepest black he'd ever seen, the kind that brought an unsettling feeling to Frank's stomach, and really Frank's wasn't one to be overly twitchy about things like this, but from the moment he first met him, he could never shake the feeling that the figure was always following him. Gerard Way never expected for his years in college to pass so slowly. He almost craved for something to happen to make the experience more exciting, but that event would likely never come. It wasn't as much the context of the letter, but more so where the letter was found that peaked Gerard's interests. "Why would anyone leave a note in a storage closet?" He thought to himself. More notes came into the closet every day, and Gerard began to wonder multiple things. 1: Who was writing these letters? 2: Why were they in the storage closet? 3: Who in the world was Frank Iero? Gerard finds Frank passed out on the beach. 5:24 am. Frank wakes up in his room with no memory of two hours before. 6:12 am. Mikey, Gerard's brother, sits in his brother's room, talking about the boy Gerard found on the beach. 9:52 am. Gerard wonders about the boy on the beach. 10:43 am. Frank wonders why he's still alive. 12:37 pm. Mikey wonders why his friend, Frank, is acting so weird. 2:19 pm. Gerard leaves the house and goes to the beach, where he found the boy. 3:49 pm. Frank realises someone found him. 5:26 pm. Mikey wants to know what the fuck is going on with the two important people in his life.
