"Have you ever wanted to jump out of a plane?" Ana asks me simply.
"Well, I've never really thought about it. Have you ever wanted jumped out of a plane?"
Ana snorts. "No, I'm not crazy. I'm just saying, it's like you two reached some kind of breakthrough, and you jumped out of a plane or something. And now you're free-falling on your way to the ground. But all metaphorically. I don't know."
We're both quiet for a moment, thinking about the accuracy of her description. I sigh. "Okay. If we keep talking like this, I'm going to go buy some vodka or something. This is getting deep."
"You wanna get drunk?" Ana asks, slightly puzzled.
"I'm a happy drunk."
