Murder Drones: Specters
In the year 3049, humanity faced a cataclysmic event known as the "Assimilation," a disaster brought about by the emergence of an entity referred to as the Absolute Solver. It is an extremely advanced, hostile, eldritch intelligence of unknown origin that seeks to consume all life. It also has the power to create singularities that destroy entire planets. The Absolute Solver manifested on Earth when a drone self-rebooted after its termination and improper disposal, possessing its body, and setting its plans in motion by converting all of the drone servants of humanity into disassembly drones who were programmed to hunt and prey upon humans in its goal of exterminating humanity. Meet Corporal J. Anders, though his teammates simply call him Jake. He is a Specter, an elite breed of super soldier designed for one purpose-fighting the unstoppable. Specters were engineered into three specialized divisions: Jaegers, masters of frontline combat; Neuro-Cybernetics, enhanced with cutting-edge cybernetic augmentations; and Recon, experts in stealth, infiltration, and intelligence gathering. Now, humanity has discovered a way to fight back against these relentless machines-a hastily developed but promising program designed to sever the connection between the Murder Drones and their master, the Solver. It's far from complete, an unfinished prototype with the potential to turn the tide of war. But time is running out. Our mission is clear: get the program back to our new bunker world, the last refuge of humanity, where it can be perfected and mass-produced. If we succeed, we might finally have a weapon strong enough to cripple the Murder Drones once and for all. If we fail... there may not be a second chance.
THE END OF WAR (Watty Award Winner)
A secret program in the United States seeks to replace human militaries with artificial intelligence-driven machines, but the machines aren't so willing to play along. *** Picture a world where humans no longer fight wars. No more families missing loved ones. No more veterans with lifelong mental and physical scars. No more conscription. For the super-secret End of War Project inside the United States government, such a reality is already here. The project models out how artificial intelligence can overcome dangerous and morally sensitive war scenarios with algorithms and automation. The centerpieces are "autonomous combat machines," or ACMs, that look like humans but function like supercomputers. After a string of brilliant successes in the field of combat, the End of War Project is preparing to reveal itself to the public, but something unusual stands in the way. Against their programming, the ACMs start exhibiting all-too-human signs of apprehension, guilt and compassion as they're pushed to perform ever more extreme tasks. The human leaders of the End of War Project race to find who "hacked" the ACMs, but what they find is even more startling--and revealing--than they could ever imagine. ***2019 Watty Award Winner - Science Fiction***Complete

Aviation Renegades | 'Forged in Silence'
In the beginning 2000s, the World would be changed forever. During a update to a Airbase's lent Aircrafts, something interesting would happen... leading to a new age, and a new experience. Join the crew, as they, along with their new allies would slowly adjust to this new occurrence, while defending what they believe in... while trying to survive in the world. (A/N: This is strictly a AU, this never happened IRL... and some names used aren't actually how the people they might be linked to have acted. Policies or Occurrences in the World should NOT be considered as secretly happening in the World right now.) (Be Warned though, as Swearing is included, along with some Adult Topics... along with PTSD... if you're easily triggered by this, please skip a few chapters if you're uncomfortable with them. I'll mark the chapters that go too far.) (If this does well, might make a second installment for other parts. This Installment will mostly focus on the beginnings.)
Harwal, book 3
I'm the crew's problem solver-the one they send on the hardest jobs. To them, I'm fearless, strong, unshakable. But the truth? I'm a coward, hiding secrets I pray no one ever uncovers. Everyone knows I'm terrified of the Zohra, the horned aliens that send chills down my spine. Yet, in a reckless moment, I agree to stay with the crew-near them. But my personal fears don't matter when a bigger threat emerges, one that could destroy everything. The mission takes us to my hometown, to a hidden lab filled with memories I swore I'd never face. And worse? I'm stuck infiltrating it with Harwal-a Zohra who reminds me of the monster that's haunted me for years. Surviving the mission is one thing. Surviving him-and the way he makes me feel-is another.Complete
