You and your mom live life in a small home, near a rich neighborhood. Your mom works two jobs and barely makes enough for you two to live off of. You didn't care though, you loved her very much and that's all you needed to live a happy life.
One day, your mom came home past sundown, but you really needed something for school the next day and begged your mom to take you out and buy it. She agreed and you both walked into a dark alleyway to get where you needed to go. Out of the darkness, you heard two loud clicks, and your mom suddenly stopped walking. You were confused and looked up and tugged on your moms hand.
She kneeled down and talked with a calm voice, telling you to run as fast as you could to the rich neighborhood and quickened up what she was telling you when two more loud clicks sounded. She hugged you tightly and looked at you, you saw tears in her eyes and knew she wasn't kidding. You sadly nodded, and started running to the neighborhood. It started pouring rain out of nowhere, and little did you know, that cloudburst was the start of your new, putrid, miserable life.
