The new school year has started and Clara is determined to stay away from Carlos and the descendants, but when the new king Ben orders for more of the villain's children to arrive at Auradon Prep, Clara soon finds herself to have a shadow. Johnny Hook, son of Captain Hook, seems to be most intrigued with the young princess, much to both Carlos and Clara's dismay.
Carlos had a plan to get Clara back, but when Johnny arrives his plan immediately shatters as he notices that Johnny also has his eyes on her; and he had the advantage seeing as Clara still hated Carlos' guts.
