Harmony is a socially awkward, short, 4 eyed 13 year- old who has no friends. If things weren't bad enough she loses her mother to cancer. She is made fun of at school because she cries when she thinks about this event. Her father tries to boost her self confidence by getting her a mirror for her birthday. Shortly after receiving this gift she starts talking to her reflection. The thing is she has no idea she's talking to her reflection. She thinks she's talking to a real person, a real friend, someone she can talk to after a rough day at school. She calls her Melody, the sweet sound of life.
