Jared is a normal teenager with a normal teenager life. He's at the top of his game. He is the talk of the high school. He is the best quarterback his high school has seen since his dad played 30 years ago. But then, one day, all of that changed. Millions of people disappear. All of a sudden, his perfect teenager life is thrown into a tailspin. This couldn't be the rapture that his parents always talked to him about. There is no way. This had to be a government experiment gone wrong. Surely his parents and sister weren't gone forever.

On the last full Moon of the year every werewolf who has turn 17 years old will be able to find their mates. So what happens when Omega Shawn Mendes finds out that his mate is none other than future alpha Taylor Caniff. Taylor and Shawn are complete opposites one is shy and the other loud. Taylor has always had the best life. He is on the school's football team and is also the school's bad boy. Living as the soon to be alpha he doesn't get in too much trouble. Him and his friends are at the highest ranks Jack Gilinsky as future Delta, Carter Reynolds as future Gamma, and his best friend Nash Grier as future Beta. Unlike the low ranks that are born into them the high ranks inherit the rank and must be part of the bloodline. Taylor never wanted a mate because he thought she would only hold him back. He sleeps around with a lot of girls and has had more girlfriends that than there are stars in the sky. So what happens when he meets his mate Shawn who hasn't even had his first kiss. Okay this is my first story like ever. These are real people but most of the things that happened is made up from my own imagination.I don't own it. Usually, when I go downstairs, I see my mom cooking breakfast, my dad reading the newspaper, and Grace reading a book. But today, they aren’t home. Mom isn’t cooking. Dad isn’t reading the daily newspaper. Grace isn’t reading a book. I go inside the kitchen and mom must of left the water boiling. I go to turn it off, when I see something strange. Mom’s clothes are on the floor. I turn to see at the table that Dad’s clothes are on the floor. Right next to his clothes, Grace’s clothes are on the floor and the book she was reading was the bible. The bible was opened to 1 Corinthians 15:51-52. “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” No this can’t be happening. It’s all a dream. Yeah, I just woke up from sleep and this is just a dream. I should be waking up by now, I think to myself. I go in the living room and turn on the television. “Breaking news, the world is going crazy. People are vanishing all around the world and all that is left of them are their clothing. There are major accidents and even plane crashes going on around the globe. People would call this the rapture. The end time and-” I turned off the TV. So I’m not dreaming. This is real. Why? Why? Seventeen year old Cadence Buds is a normal teenager in a dying world. Well, the world isn't dying, but the sun is. It has been dying for several years now, but the effects are finally starting to come about. The sun has even been changing color. The government has been working on a plan to save a portion of the human population for quite some time. There are so many problems with the sun dying. The oceans will evaporate from the inevitable explosion, everything will be dark and nothing will be able to grow, the world will freeze over, everything will be destroyed. The sun is also giving off toxic radiation while it dies, making the world especially dangerous. The government's solution to this problem is to build a radiation proof dome over a large area. There will be synthetic heat, light, and seasons. The cost to enter such an oasis is very expensive. It is hundreds of thousands of dollars per ticket. However, there is another way to get in. Once the sun dies many will die with it. It might even vaporize part of the planet in its blast. No one knows for sure. But the world will need a larger population. You can earn your place in the dome if you agree to have a child to save the human race. This obviously only applies to women. Now remember Cadence? He is biologically female. He has been on testosterone for two years and is trying to transition in this world. Unfortunately that is horribly expensive where he lives.
