Fate is a strange thing, and is different for everyone. Lives are destroyed. Homes are stripped away from people. Family and friends part ways. Bonds are ripped apart. And at the very end, what is left after all this misery? Exhaustion, as many more tears are shed. Twisting pain, as all you can do after it all is mourn, and ask: Why? How? What went wrong? Everyone has their own fate; their own pathways carved out before them. Identifying the cause of one large conflict, that brings about war, resentment, and betrayal is not easy. No one is as they seem. Everyone has something they cannot reveal about themselves, or don't even know about themselves. But... one thing is for certain: The hands of people, no matter the species or race, are the ones who cause it all. A group of four with their own handful of strangeness gather together to find the cause of one, large problem. But the question is: Will they succeed? Or will their actions simply bring about more disaster? Full credit to @Antoinette_Cardson13 for the cover.

PS: I do use AI for grammar and spelling but it is still my story and idea and I still have my own creative direction I did so it is easier for you to be able to read ... A boy wakes up in a broken world, his backpack scattered, his heart heavy with questions. The sky feels too quiet, the shadows too close. Nothing looks familiar-except the weight of betrayal already burning inside him. He doesn't know who to trust. He doesn't even know if the light that saved him is real... or just another lie. But one thing is clear: the world is falling apart, and he's the only one still standing. In a place where hope is shattered and family cuts deeper than enemies, survival isn't enough-you have to fight to keep your soul.
