He doesn't know what happened to him or how he got there. He doesn't even remember his name. All he remembers is the War. He's been locked up in a cell for days, at least, two words in his head constantly battling for supremacy:
Jedi.
Clone.
On another side of the galaxy....
Jerith Dashille can't decide what to do with his life. He never could. One day he may be a soldier. The next day, a shuttle pilot. One day a smuggler, the next, a charming do-gooder, who ironically may end up in prison for the day before. With the Clone Wars seemingly drawing to an end, Jerith wants out. He wants out of the Inner Rim, out of the corrupt government that is the Republic.
He doesn't know who he is, but today, he is a runner.
Written by Instagram's TheStarWarrior, this is the story of two characters who's paths intersect after both having been affected by the horrible conflict that is the Clone War-a war they may discover was not at all what it seemed....

The Survivor
Trust is a fragile thing. Slow to form, easy to rip apart. For Jora Dame, it couldn't be more true. At barely sixteen, she was accused of a crime she didn't commit and nearly lost her life for it. When she realizes the Jedi are far from what they're supposed to be, Jora leaves the Jedi Order and few remaining friends to start a new life. As time passes, pieces of her past resurface, whether she likes it or not. With Order 66 happening, keeping her past identity hidden is harder than ever. The galaxy is dangerous now more than ever, the only option for surviving seeming to be trusting again. But that might be too much for Jora. "A crew member," he started to explain. "Or, you know, partner, I guess. I'm doing this job for someone, might need your help. What do you say?" "I'll pass," I said once I'd put the credits into a pouch with the rest and stuffing it into one of my many pockets. "I don't work well with people." "You're a deeply mistrusting person...and I respect that," he said, as if he knew my true reason. "But come on, you need the work. You probably haven't had a real meal in well over a month, have you? If this mission goes well, we can keep doing it until you get enough money to properly be on your own. It's not like I'll hurt you or anything. What do you have to lose?" I didn't say anything. What did I have to lose? Nothing. Not anymore. He was right, I was on my own, I hadn't eaten in days. This was the only chance I had, and if he was tricking me, well. I didn't have anything to lose. "Okay," I said finally. "I'm in."
Trooper
Nearly five years ago, the Clone Wars ended with a purge that wiped an entire people from the galaxy. Jess, formerly known as CC-9976, a member of the 21st Nova Corps, shot down his Jedi general in accordance with Order 66. Now, Jess finds himself a stormtrooper for the Galactic Empire. The Empire is not the Republic that he was once so proud to serve. Jess finds himself being tested in ways he never was before. As the Empire tightens its fist around the galaxy, Jess makes the decision to escape. Jess makes his way out of Imperial control and, eventually, into the hands of the Rebellion. War is all he's ever known. Whether he is a clone, an Imperial soldier, or a Rebel fighter, one fact remains. He is a trooper and war is in his blood. Ryn Alera has only known slavery throughout her life. The last place she expected to find help was with the Empire. When Ryn is due to serve the rest of her life on Kessel, she makes a stand for her freedom. When a rogue stormtrooper helps her escape, Ryn finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of war and danger. Gradually, she adjusts to her new life on the run, and later, in the Rebellion. As she grows closer with Jess, the man who helped her escape, her values begin to change. She wasn't born a fighter, but if the galaxy's freedom requires it, she will be a soldier. Warning This book, while being a work of fiction, still contains real elements and deals with the subject of war.
