"Come on Alex stop being a goody two shoes. just get in the truck. I'm perfectly capable of getting us home safe."
"Your sure?"
"Yes I wouldn't have said so if I wasn't sure."
"Okay, Kayla."
We were speeding down the highway with music blaring, dancing and singing to the top of our lungs. I turned around just in time to see the the car flying towards us.
"Kayla!" I shrieked.
She turned and swerved trying to make sure I wouldn't get hit. The car slammed into her side and we flew off the road. She lost control and we slid down the mountain.
I grabbed her hands trying to get her to wake up. she opened her eyes and said, "Whatever happens promise me you won't ever give up."
"I promise Kayla, I promise."
I felt us tipping over and I saw the river coming fast. It was all in slow motion. I covered Kayla's body with mine and we slammed into a tree.
Everything went black.
