Mimosa pudica, elbow-annihilated cherubs, a walnut-allergic neighbor, squirrel chasing, and an impudent, yet comely, doctor whirl into a harrowing epic marked by Mina Malik's fateful move to New Haven. Soon, Mina's sardonic remarks of Eagle Woods Lane's painted facades, traitorous barbecues, and her destroyed aspirations of travelling the world are brought to a momentary hiatus. One fateful night shift and a blade to her throat initiates the world that coalesces before them as she and the charming Englishman travel through a thick sea of deception and eventually sailing into the belly of an iron beast. Her indignation with soccer moms and her hunting down of an insolent, tulip-destroyer become the last thing on her agenda as she attempts to unscramble the mystery that is Soloit and "the cure." In this bone-chilling epic, belligerent rednecks replace dizty soccer moms and innocuous friendship and romances grows poisonous claws. Nonetheless, the young doctor discovers that fangs and claws win more battles than magic wands and gleaming tiaras.
