When Sirius Black escapes from Azkaban, his daughter Aria Black knows her life is about to get much harder. She goes to Hogwarts for her fifth year, and arrives to many people hating her. Some think she's in contact with her father, some are worried he'll come to Hogwarts and get her, and some just don't trust her.

Fred and George Weasley, her best friends, keep her close to them, and Angelina Johnson fights anyone who says anything rude about Aria. She is ready to forget Sirius Black, and her mother.

Until she meets a strange figure in the woods. He knows both her parents, and is read to tell Aria all about them. On top of that, she is targeted by a group of vigilante students who attack her, and that Remus is keeping something from her. She is determined to find out more. Like her nephew, Emily became friends with Weasleys, but her Weasley friends were Bill and Charlie. When Emily was of age, she still hadn't heard much of her nephew. Remus didn't even tell her that he was still alive until she was almost fifteen. She missed the boy, though she had only really known him for a year before James and Lily were gone. Emily wanted Harry taken in to her care once she was of age, but Dumbledore would not allow it. He believed Harry was safe with the Dursley family. So, Emily left to Romania with Charlie, but not for the same reason as Charlie. While Emily lived in Romania with Charlie, she did not follow the same career path. Charlie worked with dragons, and Emily decided to be a babysitter for wizards and witches. The money was great, which made her wonder why Dumbledore believed she was incompetent of raising Harry. She wanted him to have the best, but she'd never be able to see him. When she does finally meet him once again, not everything is going to be all sunshine and rainbows...
