When Sirius Black escapes from Azkaban, his daughter Aria Black knows her life is about to get much harder. She goes to Hogwarts for her fifth year, and arrives to many people hating her. Some think she's in contact with her father, some are worried he'll come to Hogwarts and get her, and some just don't trust her.

Fred and George Weasley, her best friends, keep her close to them, and Angelina Johnson fights anyone who says anything rude about Aria. She is ready to forget Sirius Black, and her mother.

Until she meets a strange figure in the woods. He knows both her parents, and is read to tell Aria all about them. On top of that, she is targeted by a group of vigilante students who attack her, and that Remus is keeping something from her. She is determined to find out more. Ariana Taylor Black never lets a mission go unfinished.
