The story takes place in the early 1900s of a man who lost the love of his life in a freak accident. This incident drives him insane and the voice appears. The voice is a cynical, sarcastic and controls his life. No matter what he tries he can not be freed from its grasp and does the voices bidding, losing a bit of himself with each turn.
