letters to the missing

Rose is in love.

She's in love with a boy, a boy with the sand in his hair and and the stormy sea in his eyes.

The boy who, in her eyes, is perfect. But now he's gone; kidnapped.

Rose's mother has suggested she write letters to him, to help her cope.

And write she does.
