In midst of desperate times, junior high student Cerea Waters attempts suicide. Fortunately, her best friend Adam Lenon calls for help, and aid arrives in the brink of time. The only way to sustain Cerea's life is by undergoing a heart transplant. However, once awakening after her recovery period, Cerea begins to feel the past memories of an unknown stranger. Accompanied by these hallucinations comes the shadowed longing for a particular senior also attending her school; Chase Inet. Very soon does she learn that the heart now manifested in her belongs to Teresa Haldlen. Torn between Adam and Chase, and battling Teresa for control of her thoughts and life, Cerea's world is ripped to shreds right in front of her. Discovering an unimaginable secret about both of these boys leaves her tailing them for the adventure of a lifetime... Only for her to find out this entire nightmare revolves around her. Can she escape the government who claws to obtain her heart by un-burying her own abilities, or will she die trying to save herself and her companions?
