When Dick had announced that he was being taken in by Gotham's billionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne, after his parents had tragically passed away, Faith swore her heart had broke again. Years later, when Dick had heard that Haly's Circus was in town, he decided to stop by and surprised his best friend.
