Just Another Cabin In The Woods.
There's a cabin in the woods, and four teenagers. Oh did I also mention it's summer? I know how much more cliche can it get? Well, the answer is a little bit more, considering there's two girls, two guys, and maybe a couple evil spirits that need to be exorcised. But what happens as they find out the hellish secrets of the cabin, or what happens when the perfect couple in the group isn't so perfect, this cabin is more than a few evil spirits and these teens are more than just horny (well at least some of them are). What appeared as a quaint two story wooden cabin turns out to be so much more.Complete

Everyone has their limits and when we're pushed to the edge we break. (Y/n) has been through a lot and is only 16 years old. She has lived in the Slender mansion since age 5, having the four faceless brothers as father's but was sent back to her mother at age 10. Her experience in the mansion was fun... for the most part. Something within Slender changed 1 year into (Y/n)'s stay and he now acts as if he hates her. Now that her mother is dead, she goes back to the mansion in hopes of reconnecting with the brothers. Fourteen-year-old Ana and her sixteen-year-old brother, Sam, are lost in the woods, cold, tired, and hungry. Their only hope is an old train station in the woods. When a train stops at the station, they are sure they are saved. The train seems familiar, like something from a story their Grandmother used to tell them, but the train isn't quite what it was in Gran's story. This story is an entry in the Open Novella Contest 2022. The prompt was "When Grandma told them about the train that comes once a year to take children to the land of dreams, the siblings thought it was just a silly old legend. But then, they heard a steam whistle in the middle of the night." I'm taking that idea but changing it pretty drastically. There's a grandmother, and siblings, and a train but that's about it. **Trigger warning- the story includes an attack of a sexual nature. The attack is not graphic.**Complete

The trees seemed to bend towards me. The farther I went, the darker the world seemed to get. The color also seemed to dim as I ran. But I didn't pay much attention to that. I finally came to a large clearing, near the center was an hourglass, it was made out of diamond. I walked up to it. It was so thick I could barley see inside, although I did see something inside. I reached out and touched the diamond, it seemed to melt away leaving glass. I then spotted a man about my age throwing fire at the walls. I screamed. Then I woke up. "Go find someone else to feed your ego. I'm busy" -- Having lost everything to the supernaturals they once thought just stories, humans find themselves struggling to survive. Not even their technology can help them this time. Follow Arlein Moore as she navigates her new life in this new, unnatural, world. ---- "MINE" Came a rumbling voice across the crowded street. "shit" The young girl makes eye contact with the stranger across the street before taking off into the dark forest behind her. She runs as fast as she can, dropping her previously important cargo in her desperation to get the river. She know she can't out run him for long, but she has to get her family's scent off her. She knows that he could hunt down her family because she dared to love another. She'd seen the horrors of those found to be like her, in love with another. She knew she wouldn't be able to live with herself if the monster chasing her hurt her family. The river comes into view when a bone curling growl sounds throughout the forest, shaking the trees. A few more seconds she thinks to herself, almost there. At the last step she jumps, flinging herself into the water. Frantically she scrapes at her skin to get their scents off, but knowing she can't be caught de-scenting she starting swimming down stream. Better to be caught running than them thinking you have something to hide.
