You've all seen or read some story or another about someone from the present/future going back in time to stop Anakin from turning to the dark side. One where Luke or Leia or even Kylo and Rey go back to see what his life was like and what it could've been. Then they would stop him at the precipice of falling (Revenge of the Sith) and they would defeat Sidious and then live happily ever after.
This isn't one of those stories.
Anakin's darkness started long ago.
In the Clone Wars.
But at what point did the Clone War trigger his darkness? Was it when his mother died? Was it when he lost his Padawan?
Or was it when he discover the planet of Mortis?
