We sat in the kitchen in a tense silence. "What," I snapped in a whisper shout. "You have a weird glowy thing going on with your face," Stiles pointed out. "And you smell like sentiment with a hint of freezer burn," Scott added. "I made a friend," I replied. "With Isaac Lahey," Scott demanded all of our voices still in a whisper. "Oh god please don't tell me you're all buddy buddy with Isaac Lahey," Stiles whined. "So what if I am friends with him. Besides it's more like an alliance with friend like qualities," I countered. "Oh my god you befriended Isaac Lahey," Stiles half mumbled to himself about to hit his head on the table. I put an oven mitt, left from dinner most likely, between his head and the table top. "Isaac is the bad guy," Scott said. "Nothing is that black and white Scott," I countered. "There's the sentiment again," Scott pointed out. "Sentiment is the default found in the losing side," Stiles quoted. "Don't you quote Sherlock at me buzz cut," I sassed. "She just insulted my hair," Stiles complained to Scott. "There's more salt where that came from Stilinski," I fired.
