The Oracle Saga: Assassin's Oath

Kurogane Hasaki had lived in solitude ever since the night he had heard his mother die in cold blood. His only purpose for living became avenging her death. After years of training and preparation for the vengeful quest, his final task led him to the house of the greatest blacksmith in Japan; where he unknowingly picked up a companion.

Sutoraiki Ayia had always wanted to travel to the outlands, a dangerous area for any in-lander. When she realized a vagabond named Hasaki was to go there, she knew this would be her last chance. Her reason for following the vagabond was simple; an adventure – but it was a lie. The truth was one even she had not learnt to accept.

What starts off as bitter contempt for one another turns into a bond that carries them both through the perilous journey. Together Hasaki and Ayia travel to the outlands, each dealing with situations they had never encountered before. However neither of them could expect what happens next.

A prophecy that started it all can only end with the death of an oracle.
