Freylynn, Had never known love until she met Nathan, they had a deep and passionate love, Except their love was dark and a tangled web of secrets. When they broke up, Nathan had crushed her, Knowing that she could never love again, Freylynn went into a frenzy. she fell into a bad crowd, started drinking, doing drugs, and even breaking and entering. Freylynn has been arrested a few times, but she was lucky because they were friends of the family. Her mother was an abusive drunk, and as soon as Freylynn's dad smelled alcohol on her breath, she was locked up in her room, with bars placed on the window and door locked, she was fed of course but she had to go through detox, and she was  only 16.  Shortly after being released from lock down, she packed her necessary clothes, grabbed a sandwich, stole two thousand dollars from her father and skipped town, and moved to seaside Oregon, where she met Jake, a checkout boy at the grocery store.
