Hey Gerard Way fans! Thanks for checking this book out! A few things you should know before reading: -There is no specific gender or identification of the main character in these oneshots. The main character can be anyone, although other band members are mentioned in a few oneshots. There are also a few oneshots that use feminine clothing. Otherwise, the main character is whoever you picture them to be. -Some of these oneshots do have trigger warnings. I have them for the people who are easily triggered like me. If you are sensitive to things that may trigger you, PLEASE do not read the selected oneshots! I want to make sure that people are safe while reading these. If you think a oneshot needs a trigger warning, please tell me in the comments as soon as possible! -A lot of these oneshots include sad topics. It is NEVER my intention to make anybody upset, so just be careful when it comes to the topics and/or trigger warnings. I'm always here for support if you're feeling down, too. -This book is a zone for positivity! Comments that can be offensive to other readers will be deleted. My mission for this story is to create a safe place where fellow Gerard Way fans can read in peace. -This book includes reading ambience! To enjoy the full experience, I suggest using headphones while reading. The background noise really adds to the oneshots! -Requests are open until further notice! I cannot guarantee that I will write all requests, but I will try to eventually get them done. I also write oneshots based on songs, so you can request a song by any band or artist. Requests can be made in the comments of the book or in my conversations section on my page! -I appreciate kind criticism! I try my hardest to make these oneshots to my best ability, but I do tend to slip up sometimes. If you have any comments about what could be improved about the oneshots, I'd be happy to know so that I can fix it for others too! Thank you! -Alina

Quinn Taylor has made a career out of looking calm. On the ice, she's America's favorite kind of pressure-proof-bright smile, steady answers, the skater everyone wants to root for. Off the ice, she's an only child with a perfectionist's brain and a habit of carrying too much alone. The cameras love her. The country expects her. And the one place she can't afford to fall apart is the one place she's dreamed of since she was little. The Olympics. Macklin Celebrini has always made things feel lighter. He was the new kid at a Northern California rink at twelve-Canadian, polite, a little lost-until Quinn decided he was hers to keep. He became her best friend in the cold air and early mornings, the person who could make her laugh mid-breakdown and never ask her to perform for him. Then life did what life does: seasons changed, schedules got brutal, distance widened, and the kind of friendship that felt unbreakable turned into occasional texts and quiet missing. Now they're both back where the world is loudest. At the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Quinn is chasing the skate of her life for Team USA. Mack is carrying his own weight for Team Canada hockey. When reporters find out they grew up together, the story writes itself-childhood friends reunited, smiles caught on camera, a thousand strangers deciding what they are to each other. The only problem is... the strangers aren't entirely wrong. Between past chapters at a small California rink and present days in the Olympic Village, Quinn and Mack have to figure out what they really meant to each other then-and what they're allowed to be now, with medals on the line and the whole world watching. Because it's one thing to love someone quietly from a distance. It's another to have them show up in your life again and make everything feel possible.
