Eglantine has always had a bit of a rough life. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. She went through a few rebel moments along with the 'little Miss Goodie-two Shoes' phase -if only for a short time- just like any other person. Now she's finally out on her own.

She seems normal and ordinary, but what lies beneath is a completely different story. Without her parents knowing, they had indirectly started to kill her off, by trying to mold her into what they wanted her to be. Eg didn't like that one bit and ended up hating her parents just as much as she loved them even though she went with the flow, doing what she was told. She was their 'little soldier' as they liked to call her.

Sure.

Eglantine's whole life consisted of listening to and doing what her parents told her. There was little freedom in the relationship and it was like being held at gunpoint her hold life. Well, she's growing up and has a gun of her own. Now she knows how to look down the barrel and pick her targets.

⚠️Under 18, DNI⚠️ After the flaming dumpster fire that was SHIELD's collapse and the whole "surprise, Hydra was here the whole damn time!" debacle, one former agent slipped through the cracks like a pissed-off ghost in a leather jacket. She vanished from the grid, reputation scorched, trust obliterated, and purpose? Shattered. Enter Tony Stark. Because of course it was Tony. He found her somewhere between a breakdown and a bar fight, took one look at the smudged eyeliner, the sarcasm-drenched trauma, and the "bite me" attitude-and said, "Yeah, I can work with that." He brought her in, tucked her away in the shadows of the compound, and trained her like a secret weapon no one saw coming. Four years of quiet sharpening. Four years of sweat, rage, Red Bull, and a whole lot of therapy avoidance. And when he finally deemed her ready? He unleashed her like a feral raccoon with a vengeance complex. Gone was the clean-cut SHIELD poster girl. In her place: chaos incarnate. Combat boots, chipped black nail polish, hair that looked like it had been in a fistfight with a Lisa Frank folder, and a mouth that could out-swear a sailor with road rage. The Avengers? They didn't know what to do with her. And yet. Two of the most emotionally constipated, chaos-flavored men on the roster found themselves utterly, stupidly hooked. Bucky Barnes tried to pretend he wasn't watching her-like she didn't short-circuit something in his brain every time she threw a knife with that smug little grin. But he noticed everything. Then there was Loki. The God of Trouble himself. She was unpredictable. Unrefined. Unapologetically alive. So now? It's a quiet war between two broody bastards who've never properly communicated a feeling in their lives, and the chaos gremlin woman who thinks emotional vulnerability is worse than waterboarding. There's blood. Banter. Probably some light property damage. Spoiler: it's not going well. But it's going loud.

Still being tormented and haunted by the memories of when he was the Winter Soldier. Bucky has tried so many things to help him deal with the trauma of his past but nothing has helped. The Avengers can see how bad the nightmares are affecting Bucky and are really worried about him. Tony has since forgiven Bucky for what happened to his parents all those years ago but can see that he has not forgiven himself. He decides to bring in some outside help though is unsure how the team will react to the secret that he has hidden for 21 years, he knows that she is Bucky's best chance to forgive and heal himself. Her life has never been simple, especially when being the daughter of Tony Stark, but she has dedicated her life to helping horses and people alike heal from past trauma. And now her dad has asked her to help Bucky with his inner demons. But can she help Bucky while still battling her inner demons or perhaps heal each other bringing hope back into their lives? (Author's Note: This story takes place two years after Civil War but with my twist, I debated about adding the Infinity/Endgame storyline but decided not to because I'm still not over all that emotional trauma that the Russo brothers and Marvel put me through. So I decided to bring the concept of one of my favorite Canadian shows Heartland based on my favorite book series growing up. The rescues in my story are either some from the show/books but with my spin as well as some real-life horse rescue cases that I have seen online. Hope you all enjoy it, no pun intended.)

»In which she doesn't know whether she will use the knife to end him or protect him.« ------------------ Promises. They are maybe the mightiest thing there is in this world. Being able to fulfill you with electric ecstasy on the end of the aisle in forms of vows to your loved one, they also have the power to break your heart into a thousand pieces. Sometimes, the shattering isn't caused by someone not keeping their word, but by yourself not able to hold onto it. Cherry has made a promise to her mother when she found her mutilated corpse at the age of barely eight years. A life for a life. Intending to keep her word for whatever it takes, she prepared her entire life to kill the famous Captain America, praised by most people like an angel, and yet, the murderer of the person meaning most to her. Along her turbulent path, swearing she'd end everyone in her way, she just doesn't calculate the presence of another annoyingly-handsome Super Soldier with that damn deep-throaty chuckle. --------- Trigger warning for basically all the chapters, concerning spice, vulgar language, violence and psychological issues such as depression, lack of self-identity, traumatic events, etc. I recommend you to read this story if you're 18+. If you read it beforehand, I don't hold any responsibility as to how it might affect you. ---------------------- I don't own anyone from the MCU. But I do own Cherry, and every character involved in her personal life that isn't taken from the MCU.

Astra Griffin was trained, beaten, and forced to be the best version of herself - or most skilled. She was the best fighter the world would come to know, she was the best archer the world would know, she was the best shooter the world would know, she was the best. It was a problem people would wish they had until they really knew her. They didn't know the people she was forced the hurt, the lives she was forced to ruin, the life she could've had if she had just been born into another family. Though, had she been born into a better family Captain America wouldn't have plucked her off the streets after her escape. "But I am my father's daughter, so maybe I could fix him" ~ "You're insufferable" he says and he sighs running his hand through his hair "You're loving it" I say with a slight smirk. ~ Emmaline Stark is the daughter of the infamous billionaire, Tony Stark. After living away from his superhero life, forbidden to ever be involved in such a dangerous place, things change ever so suddenly on her 19th birthday. After a big fight with her father, she makes him agree to let her help the Avengers, but with three ground rules. • Excessive training so she will always be prepared • No missions until she is qualified by him • No romantic involvements with any members of the team She of course agreed on everything, finding silly that he would even think she would want an avenger, since everybody was so nuch older than her, except for Peter of course, but he is her best friend, so he doesn't count. After moving in the Avengers tower, her life changes. But nothing really big is assigned to her for the first 4 months. Until Steve Rogers talks about recruiting an old friend of his. Bucky Barnes is an ex-assasin, mind controlled by HYDRA for years and finally saved by the avengers , who thought they put an end to his misery. Nightmares and paranoia, won't even let him step out of the house which makes him exist more as an entity than a person. When his good friend from the past offers him a job for the avengers, he never thinks he will take it. Until he realises work may be the only thing he truly needs to get back to his old life, if that is even possible. When they meet they both come to the conclusion that they will never get along. Unless one of them let's their guard down first. ~ All rights reserved to the MCU, the only character I own is Emmaline.
