In the kingdom of Edgeworth, there lies two main types of magic: red and blue. Red magic is used by the angry or wicked, and blue magic is reserved for those with higher abilities, such as healing. As a slave, Alaina Castor is not to possess any magic at all, yet she has a combination of red and blue, creating a purple. Concealing herself from the Royal Family becomes that much harder when Prince Alexander purchases her and her father.
