This is the untold story of Rose Quartz before, during, and after The Rebellion. This will be a story of how things were before Steven Universe was born.
Rose Quartz is a wonderful character, and a very important one to the show. How she felt, what she saw, and knew must be told. And it is my duty as a fan to write about it.

What if Blue Diamond found out that Steven wasn't Rose Quartz a lot earlier and also knew the pain he has to endure daily. Zircon fled from Homeworld to get to Earth, where her other half went to before the war. They were meant to be together, but had to separate to keep them both alive. Zircon is hoping to join the remains of the rebellion to go against Homeworld. But she's in for a surprise when she gets there, and it's not exactly good.Complete
Consequences
Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible! Star Sapphire is the only sapphire of her kind. Her ranking is higher than an Agate! All star gems are second to the Diamonds. But each of them still had a Diamond they were made for. Star Sapphire was made for Pink Diamond. She was made on Homeworld and was always treated like a superior. She was very loyal to Pink Diamond and the other Diamonds. She had future vision that was 99% correct! She also had fire and ice powers. (Like Todoroki from BNHA) And her weapon was a bow. Like Opals. She knew about Rose Quartz but never questioned her. She always saw Rose doing her work when she came by, so she didn't question it. She didn't look into the future to find out about her Diamonds shattering. She never knew until.. One day, Sapphire was walking up to her Diamonds palanquin when she saw.. The Rose Quartz. She drew her rebel blade and... *POOF* Her gem was no longer there... there were pieces of her where she had dissipated her form. She stared at Rose in shock. She didn't really hate Rose but she dislikes her for now. She didn't REALLY agree with her Diamond but.. That doesn't mean she deserved to be shattered! Once the Diamonds directed there attack... and Star ran as fast as she could to one of the Kindergarden holes and hid. But someone didn't make it.... Her friend.. Star Ruby. A new type of gem has been created on homeworld. An aristocratic gem. Her first job to prove her status is to check up on the Crystal Gems and make sure nothing shifty is happening, if something is going on, she has strict orders from Blue Diamond to obliterate them. But once she meets Steven, naturally he slowly changes her mind. Should she stay with homeworld or rebel? I wrote this book like 2 years ago so the information is really outdated compared to where the show is currently, so please don't correct me on inconsistencies. I'm caught up with the show. I know. The truth is out. Rose Quartz, the leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion, was Pink Diamond all along. It shocked all of the Gems, but Steven was the most affected. His anger now only grows, seeing that his mother, who he once looked up too, was nothing more than a coward, a murderer, and a liar. What pushes him over the edge is when Pearl and the other Crystal Gems still want him to be like her. Pearl doesn't realize, though, that she will set off a chain of events that nobody could've predicted, starting with her 'baby' going back to when it all began.
