~Synopsis~
Margaret Bremerton is pretty much just as successful as one could be in the Commonwealth. She's the main DJ for East End Radio, and hasn't yet been killed off by raiders. That's pretty much all she has going for her at this point.
However, one day, she recieves a mysterious postcard. Granted, it's not all that mysterious as it's got a return address printed right on it: The Dugout Inn. It's a radio convention, and she, being pretty much the only other DJ in the 'Wealth (besides that Radio Freedom guy) is invited.

You can't trust anyone but yourself. This has become Charlie Quinn's motto after being let down again and again by the very people she thought she could trust. She will not subject her fragile heart to any more damage. Having given up on her dreams of being an author to be a stay at home wife, she is left with pretty much nothing after deciding to leave her asshole of a husband. Luckily, her Gran, the only person in her life who ever truly made her feel safe, left her everything when she passed away six months ago. So she is leaving her life in Hartford to move back to Hawkins, the small town she lived in off and on throughout her left whenever her mom's latest boyfriend dumped her until she finally left Charlie with her Gran for good at nine years old. She stops in Pittsburgh for a night to get some sleep before continuing on the road. Charlies decides that drowning her sorrows at a local bar sounds better than hours alone in a motel, contemplating all her messed up life choices. She happens to run into a beautiful stranger whose band is playing a gig that makes a one night stand, something she's never done, sound pretty intriguing. Imagine her surprise when she gets to Hawkins and finds out the mystery man from Pittsburgh is a local resident of the town.Complete
