Humans and Galife's working together has been disallowed, contact is restricted however schools run together. Daliah Marlgrid lives at home with her alcoholic father, her mother was taken when she was younger. The separation between the Galife and the Humans is strictly controlled by the government. When Daliah starts breaking rules she finds something strange about the Galife people she never would've discovered otherwise.
