Mel is a robot and a university student that associates herself as an A.I. due to her past and avoids showing emotion. You will experience her life as you go through each door. Some doors will give you a fragment of her life while others will be fragments of others, such as Susanna who is a human that has known Mel since summer orientation and who Mel would consider as a friend. As you read, try to piece them together as you navigate through the caverns and hallways of Mel's brain. Good luck, my fellow explorer.
Setting takes place in the present day but in an alternate universe where robots and humans, and other creatures, live together on Earth.

This is a word I found on Tumblr that automatically clicked to me and made me think, "This sounds like my character, Mel."
Originally my Creative Writing Final titled Project Human Being, I thought it would be cool to expand on the short fictional story. I wanted to see the progression I make of Mel's world and my progression of myself as a writer.
Note: Many of the words for each door is from wordstuck on Tumblr for inspiration
Definition:
n.
a moment of awareness that someone you've known for years still has a private and mysterious inner life, and somewhere in the hallway of their personality is a door locked from the inside, a stairway leading to a wing of the house that you've never fully explored-- an unfinished attic that will remain maddeningly unknowable to you, because ultimately neither of you has a map, or a master key, or any way of knowing exactly where you stand
Season 4 of The Virus Within
Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again.
When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
