My brother the 10 year old genius
We're about 4 years apart, he's only 10 years old and still the smartest person I know. I'm 14 years old, and starting my first year of high school. And may I just say, what a great way to start the year off by first having all the parents be abducted by aliens. Compared to the rest of our family it makes me feel stupid, but then compare me to our parents and my IQ goes from stupid to at least average. Our mom is pretty smart, my dad isn't that smart, and sounds like he really only cares about ducks. People make fun of him for being so smart, but I love him, most days anyways. He's my best friend and he says I'm the coolest big sister he's ever had, to be clear I'm the only sister he's ever had. He has one of those space HQs one of those bigger on the inside tiny on the outside, and invents all and everything. Including our dog, I'm allergic to anything that sheds, but have always wanted a pet, so he made me one himself. I just wish he'd ask me first before he tests his experiments on me. Ribbit and Reality
Waking up on the edge of a cliff in an unknown world wasn't part of the plan. Neither was having absolutely no memory of how I got here. But here I am-confused, probably high, and screaming into the void. With no clue what to do next, I do what any sane person would: throw a tantrum, curse at the sky, and accidentally "befriend" a weird, tiny creature that may or may not be magical. Now, lost in a strange world with only my questionable survival instincts and a feathery menace at my side, I have one goal-figure out what the hell is going on. A Love Story
This is a love story for in truth it is our story, yours and mine. Two young people met and grew up together. They became acquainted quite by accident on the phone for a business purpose. After weeks of talking, they became very comfortable with one another's personalities and enjoyed the same sense of humor. She then asked him to come to her business for a cup of coffee. Something extraordinary happened, when they looked at one another both were silent and somewhat stunned. An electricity, but not quite, shot between them. This was an energy that neither of them had ever experienced and there were no words to adequately describe what they astonishingly felt. Tears came to their eyes and no words were yet spoken. They simply smiled and were somewhat stunned in the beauty of the moment. Instantly they understood that they'd known one another for a very long time and were simply re-uniting. When she spoke first, he heard what was somewhat like music in the melody of her voice. They were instant lovers. She was, by far, the most beautiful woman he'd ever had the honor to gaze upon. This wasn't simply a physical attraction but much much deeper. In his eyes, she seemed to be surrounded by a type of light. She's radiant. Their remembered love was coming to the surface and would continue to grow for the next twenty years.
