All I want is to be alone. I wish that no one existed. My name is Zeina. I don't talk much. Not at all actually. Well not really. I sign or write things down in my notebook. I can speak. But I really only speak to those I trust. Today I'm gonna die. Don't feel bad for me, I am choosing my fate after all. Im tired of living. It's exhausting really living up to your own expectations and the expectations of others. I'm sick of shaving every inch of my limbs, plucking my eye brows, doing my hair, getting dress. The night when everything got f*cked up.
The party was quite nice. The school year had just started. But there was too much alcohol, too many problems, and a unfortunate accident that would kill 5 kids, leaving many in grief. Cheating happened, death happened, rape happened, and brought people closer to each other than they've ever been. People mourn every time they see the sunset, people can't bring themselves to get into an Uber. At the end of the day they're just young, and some will stay young forever. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. What if you are partnered with him to capture a serial killer? I'd like to know the answers to those questions too. Maybe I'll find some light in all this darkness.
