Crazy, Stupid, Boarding School (English)

Fifteen-year-old Jenna Banks has always been an outsider at her school. She is lonely, bored and disillusioned with life. This changes when a mysterious new guy joins her class in the middle of the year. Alex is devastatingly hot and has "sexiest guy of the school" stamped all over his face. Yet he seems to be completely ignorant of the fact that he leaves every girl who walks his way drooling.

Jenna is fascinated by Alex' sharp intelligence, strong moral values and, yes, even by his always brooding and somewhat tortured expression.

Jenna can't believe that this god-like creature could ever be interested in her boring personality. However, from the moment their eyes first met Alex seeks her company again and again. While they spend more and more time together, Jenna slowly starts to come out of her shell. But just then, Alex pushes her away again. Frustrated by his ambivalent behavior, Jenna wishes she could find out what secret he is holding on to. However, Alex is sent back to boarding school at the end of the year and Jenna is alone again.

Determined to focus on her academic career instead, Jenna throws herself into work and is rewarded with a scholarship at one of the UK's most prestigious boarding schools. Jenna is thrilled at the perspective of a fresh start. But (although she would never admit that) the most important reason for her to go is the hope to see him again. Alex.

Fortune seems to be on her side for once: she does meet him again. Alex has changed a lot though: he is no longer brooding and keeping to himself. Instead he suddenly seems to be outgoing and happy. More importantly, his feelings for Jenna seem to have changed from friendship to something else, although he is hesitant to permit it. Will they finally have a chance to be together? Or will circumstances tear them apart once again?
