11 parts Complete Mature

My life began in simplicity. I yearned for what any average girl would dream to become, in a world where expectations flourish, yet still being gullible to realise. Like a princess, or even possibly a narcissistic little girl who wants everything to herself, I disregarded the stories told to me during my bedtimes. That 'Beauty and the Beast' was only a figment of one's imagination. That a palace was even a torture ground to those who have absolute control over it, all its inhabitants, and all that are affected by it. The potential bestowed future had been ruined by innocent decisions of my heart, unknown to the tragedy it would inevitably render. In the end, it was my husband, whose gaze I interpreted as one of affection, who was my one and only betrayer. *** | Top Ranks | [#05 in 'Resilience' - 18/04/2023] [#06 in 'Solution' - 28/08/2024] *** Important Note: Those who are easily triggered are advised not to continue with this book.
