According to the Kabbalah, in each generation there are thirty-six righteous people who sustain the world and preserve Humanity. These people are unknown and obscure but they bear all the sorrows and sins of the world. They appear and help ordinary people and times of extreme need.
When Germany invaded Poland in 1939, 15 year old Sigi Siegreich and his family fled their hometown near the German border, believing that the war would last at most a few weeks. They had just become homeless.
As life grew more and more difficult for Poland's Jews, Sigi did everything he could to stay alive and support himself, taking part in all manner of daring escapades - from operating a bicycle courier service between ghettos to guarding weapons for the Polish resistance.

There will be multiple grammatical issues and some chapters don't make sense. I will be editing chapters and adding chapters for the next few weeks. The holocaust had already been changing the lives of Jews for six years but in the year 1939, when it becomes rough in Poland, everything changed for these 12 year olds Cole and Jackie Clogsglot. They lived in Poland. At this point of time, Germany just declared war on Poland. Their mother dies unexpectedly in an attack,and their father dies at war. The twins must figure out how to adapt to staying with Mr. Vandel, their neighbor and his nephew, Fin, in his cottage in northern Poland.The only thing that could help was hope. Trigger Warning// This book contains graphic moments during the Holocaust. If you are someone who is quite uncomfortable with that topic, I recommend that you do not read this book.Complete
