A gathering of all royal members is taking place at the Crystal Empire to join in their festival celebrating the peace and harmony. Little is it known that sinister events will occur upon such a night. King Sombra once again escaped total banishment from the elements of Harmony and has been building up strength and power, waiting for the right time to exact his revenge. And what a perfect night to put his devious plan into action; a night celebrating the very thing that made his blood boil, harmony. But what or should we say who will he encounter during his climb of reclaiming his previous power?
Dauntless Spirit; more known as Dauntless is a lesser known princess of Equestria. Formally she is titled as the princess of the Royal Guard of the Crystal Empire; her powers of protection surpassing that of even Shining Armor. Her skills and desire to protect in the peagasus guard where noticed by the Princess Cadence and Shinning Armor, who saw something more to this young filly and after consulting with two sisters Princess Luna and Celestia agreed that to uphold harmony in the empire they would need an extra protector. Dauntless suspects that a night like this will be vulnerable to attack. But nothing could prepare her for this... the return of the King of Shadows.
