New girl in town, Roselyn, was just supposed to make it through her final year of high school with perfect grades, but fate had a different plan. It had her running into the golden boy at school around every corner and at the worst of times. Josh knew as soon as she moved into town that his life would never be the same, but he didn't know if that was a good or bad thing. He knew she was something special and didn't want to ruin his chances of getting to know her, so he decided he would just make them "accidentally" see each other. With them constantly getting in each other's way, Roselyn defined him as cocky and sometimes annoying, and Josh described her as a mystery he wanted to solve.

Will Roselyn finally learn to let someone in or is Roselyn too much for Josh to handle?

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. "I had a wonderful time tonight," says the guy. He reaches to his face and removes his mask. I recognize him immediately. How did I not know it before? *** Carter Bennett has managed to survive her first 3 years of high school. Everything has been amazing... for the most part. She had her life completely planned out. [COMPLETED] Autumn Cross is now in 12th grade at her new school, Willington High, with only one goal in mind: passing the 12th grade and going to a good college. But her world changes when she meets Ryder Becker. Ryder Becker is one of the most popular boys in all of Willington High. I mean, all the boys want to be him and all the girls worship him. He could care less about grades because he knows that football is what's going to get him into a good college. But his carelessness in grades changes when he meets Autumn. Not only does Autumn get partnered up with Ryder for the biggest class project of the whole year, she also lives on the same street as him. In the beginning she thinks it's a total curse, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise... They both may pretend on the outside that they are fine, but truth be told, they are both broken. The way his smile doesn't match his sad eyes draws her towards him, and the scars and bruises on her skin draw him towards her. A cure for your sadness could be another person, right? Well put her broken pieces together with his, and you have cracked the code. Love could put their broken pieces back together. ----------------------------------- A sky full of stars and he was still staring at me. "Why are you staring like that?" I asked him. "You scare me, Autumn." Ryder admitted. "How come?" He looked down at the grass beneath us then back at me and gulped. "Because I want to tell you secrets I'm too scared to admit to myself." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🤍I wrote this when I was around 13-14 (i'm 19 now) so some chapters may be cringy but I am too lazy to rewrite them, and still so many people enjoy this book and i'm truly grateful! But sorry in advance for scenes that may seem unrealistically cringe...I was young and naive. But anyways, enjoy the book (hoping to write more books in the future)🤍 Highest rank: 2019 #1 scars 03/12 #7 love 04/30 #4 romance 06/07 #1 highschool 06/07 #5 teen fiction 06/09 #1 cute 06/15 #1 lovers

New In Town

17 chương Hoàn thành

Nina is new in town. She'd always been bored of her life in the small town she lived in, so after she'd finished school she decided to have a little break and go to America for a couple of months. But it might turn out to be more of an adventure than she originally thought it would be. Why? Because Dave Harper is her new roommate. He's what they call 'a bad boy', dangerous and unpredictable. But, the problem with dave is that he's also incredibly hot. Nina's new friends tell her to stay away from him, and she tries, but it's kind of hard considering the fact that they live in the same house. What will happen when they start to get close? Will she listen to her friends' warnings? Or will she fall for his charms? - - - - - - Just a little warning; if you don't like cliché stories, you're probably not going to enjoy this. If you do, feel free to read it. I can't say I'm particularly proud of this book, though. - - - - - -
