I was afraid, I realised with a shock. 
Decim frightened me in more ways that I'd thought possible. I took a step from behind the tree, from behind my protection. 
His eyes flew open and I froze. 
A brief smile.
A glance.
And then his eyes turned dark, he suddenly sat up and turned away. 
I frowned, what's wrong? 
"Decim?"
"Please leave."
"What? But-"
"I asked you to leave. Please." His tone emotionless as he spoke.
I couldn't leave, even as he said that. 
I just... couldn't.


Decim leaves his bar and games of death in a broken state. They thought it to be a good idea to start their little research. Especially since Decim's constantly being overthrown by his feelings. 
When Decim meets Raven, he feels like his whole world starts to crumble apart.
