This is a non-fiction work by a baby-boomer toward the Millennial Generation that is meant for intelligent and mature readers. Not mature in the sense that the reader can handle erotica, which there won't be any, but mature in the sense that the reader can be discerning enough to consider what is written with an open mind without losing it.

This is my first ever serious attempt at creative writing. I wanted to write about the struggles of being a first generation American and the experiences of growing up with immigrant parents. However, I wanted to offer a more hopeful outlook for the parent-child relationship dynamics as one moves into adulthood. I know that a lot of people won't necessary identify with this premise, but I hope that you will still be able to enjoy it nonetheless.
