Your whole life, you're told the world outside is lifeless and baron. The world you know is full of life, but it's hellish, even if you're fed, educated and sheltered, you're always one step away from near death or life-long isolation. You escape to find a lush and flourishing world, but it's cruel and harsh, but you can't go back. The world hates you, yet you've done nothing to deserve it. This is the curiosity that almost killed James. In a time, a couple hundred years after the war had ended, the world has finished rebuilding. James Regit, a boy from Australia, grows up knowing only the grey walls in the futuristic prison around him. He lives there with his fellow mutants, but he is unlike the others, other than his appearance, he wonders about, dreams of, longs for a life of freedom, but all he wakes up to everyday is confinement. Take the journey, and go with James as he chooses a life of freedom and faces the trials of that choice. Follow him through this series to find how he lives in the outside world. In a world that hates him, he wants to live a normal life, but first that means he needs to teach the world that there's nothing to fear, there's nothing inherently evil or worth being feared about mutants. In a world where everyone is the same, it's those who stand out who get punished. This is the trouble that James finds.

Never in my life did I ever think I'd be reincarnated. As far as I'm aware, being able to reincarnate means being good in your previous life, and being given a chance to restart your life anew. But now, I find myself trapped within said story, cast as the villain, destined to meet my end at the hands of the possessive, and dangerously unhinged male lead. I can't tell if this world despises me or if it's offering me a twisted kind of opportunity. But one thing is for certain: I have to survive. And I need to find a way out.
