It isn't normal for a young adult to be kidnapped by another young adult. Questionably, how was it able to be done? If the 'napper was just as strong as the victim, you'd think there would be a battle, no? To be fair, that DID happen; for a couple of seconds at least until the victim was knocked out with a fairly strong sedative. Strong enough to almost sweep off ten elephants off of their feet.
Once taken, there isn't an escape. The victim believes they are the only one who is in their situation.

Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth.
