Sam Winchester and other special children were fed the blood of a yellow eyed demon named Azazel on the day they turned six months old. The demon blood gave them each incredible psychic abilities, which seemed to become even more powerful as they neared the age of twenty-two. Confused by the sudden premonitions, super human strength, telekinesis, and mind control, these children neared the plan set by Azazel which was to have these children fight to the death in a ghost town in Cold Oak, South Dakota, to find the true vessel of Lucifer. The demon visits each of the special children in their dreams and when Azazel speaks to Sam, he says something troubling that must ofnever occurred to him again . He said that there were other generations, like Sam's, that were fed his blood.

Aaliyah Braxton was one of the special children that survived the fight to the death with her ability of killing people with her touch during the 1800s. She resented her power more than anything, killing her whole family before she even realized that it was her doing. Also during this time the demons of the world were also trying to free lucifer from his cage and find a true vessel.Luckily, the sixty-six seals that act as a key to the cage that lucifer was trapped in weren't broken, leaving the world intact. Although Gabriel, being the impish angel he is, sent Aaliyah to a different time in attempt to keep Lucifer in his cage. She was sent to the year 2005 completely oblivious of how she got there, and who she could trust. Aaliyah continued on her own for half a year, still with her moral touch and began picking up on a bit of the culture of the 2000s. Then, at a run down motel in Connecticut, she felt a strong connection to the man staying at the rom adjacent to hers. Curiosity got the best of her and when she realizes she can touch him without him dying. And her whole world was about to turn upside down.
