This is one of the stories that I wrote for my Creative Writing class, my senior year of high school. I wrote a series of 5 stories all telling warped versions if some of the famous classics such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin and Pinocchio. Ultimately, I'm hoping to one day publish these, but I feel that they need a little more tweaking. Please feel free to leave any comments or questions. I hope you enjoy. Thank you.

So begins the peculiar message found slipped under a bedroom door on the morning of May first. Theo is the heir to a powerful dictatorship. The number of people allowed to know he exists is few. He has spent his entire life walled up in the Tower, the looming stone monolith from which his father rules over the Land. Merryn is the daughter of political prisoners. She's known who Theo is longer than he would think possible, and she is taking a great risk contacting him via handwritten notes in order to convince him he deserves more than the fate his father has designed for him. She has one month to exchange daily messages with him, to answer his questions and open his eyes to the realities of a world he has never been allowed to see. A revolution is coming to the Land at the end of the month, and if Merryn's notes fail to get their point across, Theo may never live to see the sunrise on June first. A/N: The following letters were originally published each day from May 1st-31st, 2014. My name is Elizabeth Scarlet but really I'm the Blue Fairy! Yes the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio and yeah I did turn him into a real boy but I am not some old lady! I'm a 17 year old girl and I go to Legend High School with all the other legends like Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Bloody Mary......I think you get the point. Every single legend you can think of goes to my school. Also I don't just belong to the story of Pinocchio I'm the greatest legend there is. I control all the other legends! Being Re-Written Book 1 in The Red Hood Trilogy There's a story about a girl that never really had a name. Red Riding Hood was walking by the forest carrying a basket for her grandmother, and gets tricked by the wolf. That's the story that you HAVE heard. The generations of mystery and heartbreak of the Red Hiding Hood name led to questions and unbeliefs. Especially in this story. The story that you haven't heard. This time, the forest is filled with nightmares and a PACK of wolves. Even imagination friends who aren't even that good. The deadly forest is known to make people go insane. Especially the Red Riding Hood bloodline. But the main character needs to know what happened. She needs to bring the medicines that her grandmother had mailed to her to bring. The grandmother lives at the OTHER side of the forest. But how did she get there? And who exactly IS the grandmother of this tale? The wolf? Or something that had to be dead, but in the end...
