My first public fan fiction, so please enjoy, and criticism is welcome if it's polite and good intentioned. 

It was a normal day for Soul and Maka, until the mail came in. Maka suddenly finds herself shut out of Soul's life and to top it off, Soul decides he's leaving for a while! Will Maka find out what Soul is hiding or what was in the mysterious letter delivered to her best friend?
