    Nineteen years after Sarah left the labyrinth, her daughter, Athena, is kidnapped and taken into the goblin city. 
  
    Jareth's mysterious son gives her a seemingly impossible challenge, and she must find a way to beat him and his deceptive and heartbroken father before it is too late, and she is trapped there forever.

A/N: I've been wanting to write this ever since I first saw - and fell in love with - Labyrinth. After David Bowie's death, I decided to write this as tribute, but also as a celebration of the masterpiece of a film. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!

Part One and Two are now complete, and Part Three is being written and published progressively!

Sarah Williams was the first and only friend Franklin Hartford ever made when she moved to a new town to live with a new foster family. Since Sarah walked right up to Franklin on her first day of freshman year of high school to introduce herself and convince her to join the theatre, they had been attached to the very hip. Now it's their senior year and things in their lives have gotten wild. Franklin had been adopted by her Forster family. Sarah started to wish her father never remarried so that she wouldn't have an annoying little brother. One afternoon the girls realize that Sarah is out past curfew. They had been practicing their lines for their last school play as seniors. Labyrinth. Their rushed journey back to Sarah's house resulted in a rainy argument. The dad and stepmom were leaving to go on their weekly date, making Sarah watch the baby, Toby. Franklin willingly stayed instead of going back home. She witnessed Sarah have a crazed outburst as soon as the adults left. Causing poor Toby to wail and wail. Sarah grew angry and started to yell at the child. Even told him a silly story from their play to shut him up. Then a flash of lightning strikes and there out of nowhere a strange blonde man appears. Claims that he had taken the baby and that if Sarah wants him back she and Franklin must travel through the labyrinth and get the baby themselves. This story was inspired by art made by Monarobot on Tumblr. ~~~ After Sarah had defeated Jareth, unbeknownst that she will leave him cursed, the handsome and irresistible Goblin King was left with hideous features upon his being. Horns. Wilder teeth. Scaly skin and very bony structures. Jareth was forever stuck in his true, hidden form. In order to reverse the curse, he must find his lost queen, the one who bested him. Sarah is the only one who can cure him, but she must accept the fact that she will become Goblin Queen. Will she accept her fate? Or will Jareth be stuck a scary, hideous creature for all eternity? ~~~ I was given permission by Monarobot on Tumblr to draw and make a story with their Gobliny Jareth that they had first drawn, given the theory that the masks the other Fae wore in the ballroom scene had represented who those people truly are behind their beauty.
