I was never a human... All those years with my childhood, I thought I was the weird one.. The misunderstood.. But I wasn't. Even though Tyler was the one always with me.. I've never felt so.. Pained. My name is Kaitlin Reid. I'm simple-minded, boring, and a little less than capable of dealing with stressful situations. When I witnessed my best friend being murdered, I did all that I knew how to do, and I called the cops. They captured the murderer and put him in prison, and for a while, I felt safe. I had the cops on my side and just enough strength left in me to try to get my life back in order. But of course, as the story goes, that illusion of 'safety' was short-handed. The murderer escaped a high security prison. I know I am the top of his hit list. And I'm not sure when he will find me, or how he will do it, but he is after me. And my limited time is running out.

A couple years ago, my older brother and I saw something that we shouldn't have seen. Ever since then, we have been on the run from our father, constantly having to change our names, birth dates, eye colors and hair colors. We last found ourselves in California, we were able to settle down and make friends, and even get into relationships, but then he found us, and things got bad. This time, we're tired of running. This time we are going to stand our ground.

Some guys are smooth, unreadable-dangerous in a way that makes your pulse do things it shouldn't. But hey, who doesn't have a little emotional damage these days? Then the weird stuff starts. The calls. The messages. The undeniable feeling that someone's watching you. Totally normal, right? (Wrong.) Because when your psycho ex, slithers back into the picture, things go from maybe I need help to okay, I'm definitely about to get murdered. The worst part? You have no idea which man you should be running from.

Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

Well, don't underestimate how one choice can make you running throw the woods while you are hearing your friends scream, sounds fun right? So now I'm on the run from whatever killed my friends, and weird things are starting to happen to me, I'm not sure what is wrong with me, everything just went wrong since that camping trip.
