"Kayla! Psst!" Emily whispered. Kayla looked around. Then the singing started again. Emily covered her ears again, but this time the singing wasn't in her head. It grew fainter and quieter until it was barely a whisper. Emily looked over at Kayla, to find her tightly covering her ears and squeezing her eyes shut. The voices were in her head. Then Kayla uncovered her ears, and looked at Emily; her eyes widened. But then Emily realized Kayla wasn't looking at her. She was looking at a writing a wall next to her.
