Right when Maddie vanished from her sight into the forest, Emily realized she now alone.
Alone.
She kept walking, then everything went silent. Too silent. The trees stopped swaying, the wind stopped blowing, and the birds stopped singing. He's near. Emily thought. Then she heard a snap of a twig. She whipped around. Nothing. Someone was there. Someone, or something. Everything was still. Then she jumped to the sound of a deathly scream. A familiar scream. But not of Kayla, or Maddie, or Ethan. It was someone else. Then something caught her eye. Above the trees. Something flew past her. Something red, and black. Something armed with weapons. Then Emily realized it was a someone. Someone familiar. Then the figure swept by again. Each time, closer and closer. Emily waited for a clear shot, then fired at the figure, but it made a loud 'clang'. The arrow came flying back at her head and she ducked just in time. The figure dived towards her at a fast pace. Emily franticly shot as many arrows as she could, trying to get the figure to back away. But it wouldn't stop. She screamed loudly and took a knife off her back and swung at it as it got within touching distance. It easily dodged all her blows. The figure swallowed her up quickly, muffling her screams. In seconds, both Emily and the figure were gone.

We hiked out a few meters from the cave, and started to hunt around for good trees to chop down. As we started to get down to business, I called for Vivian to help me with an extremely tall tree. As she came around the tree to my side, I pinned Vivian up against the tree before she could react. "No more Ms. Perfect for you!" I growled. I began to carve little hearts and diamonds into her scalp with her own nails. The little trails of blood were transfixing me as they trickled down her chin. Vivian gasped, "Why?" "You're annoying. I hate you," I drawled, "I'm not going to give you a dramatic backstory- it's the Hunger Games- I shouldn't have to explain at all." Vivian screamed in pain. I laughed at her pathetic shrieks of terror. "Please make it stop!" Vivian grimaced in pain as I tried to pinch her eyeballs out with her own hair. Emily X was still swinging at trees for firewood; however, her axe went wide and she chopped Vivian's head off. Vivian died instantly. "What did you do that for?" I asked crossly, "I was having fun." "Well if there was a lot of blood on our hands we'd look suspicious," I could tell Emily X was lying, but I let it slide. Lot's of killing, lot's of drama, lot's of fun! Probably one of the most gruesome scenes in the book. Lot's of credit to @tuxpenguin2003 for letting me write this story with her!Complete

He meets my eyes, then his eyes turn from annoyance, to lust. They seem to hold a fire so intense I almost forget to breathe. He's hot. Like, really hot. Forest eyes
I locked eyes with it. Its amber gaze pierced through me, like it could smell my fear. There was something ancient in that gaze, something that stirred an unsettling feeling deep in my gut, a sensation I couldn't quite shake. Its claws scraped against the earth, long and curved, leaving deep marks in the fresh dirt as it moved closer. I could hear its paws thud against the ground, massive and deliberate, each step sending another shock of terror through me. The silence that followed was unnerving, heavy in the air, but then a loud crack shattered the stillness. It came from the forest-close, too close. The beast whipped its head back to the forest, quickly turning his whole body around so I was behind him. The shock from him turning so fast made me stumble a few feet backwards. The ground beneath us seemed to shift as it suddenly lunged forward, its muscles rippling with terrifying power. With one mighty leap, it vaulted over the rotting wooden fence, clearing the barrier effortlessly. The impact of its landing shook the earth beneath my feet. I staggered again, trying to keep my balance as I watched the creature, now free, pause on the other side of the fence. It cocked its head backwards meeting my gaze one final time. Then, without another notice, it darted into the forest, disappearing into the darkness like a shadow swallowed by night. I stood there, my body still trembling, staring at the empty space where the creature had been. The night had swallowed it whole. And though the sounds of the forest returned, soft and distant, the terror of that moment lingered. Was it still out there? Watching? Waiting? My eyes darted back and forth in the forest, trying to see it still hung around. I didn't know, but I couldn't shake the feeling that this encounter, this creature, was only the beginning.
